Gijs Kist

Gijs is a senior advisor at Huijskens Sassen Communications. He advises national and international clients on areas including reputation management, public affairs, issue management, and crisis communication.

As an historian, Gijs is a strategic thinker with an eye for and an interest in societal developments at home and abroad. In previous roles, he gained extensive experience in providing advice on government policy and communication. During his time at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gijs gained skill in the art of diplomacy and politics. In recent years, Gijs has worked as an advisor and researcher for governments at various levels, as well as for civil society organizations and companies, at the intersection of policy, communication, and participation. His areas of focus have included topics such as climate, public space, and governance.
