Tessa Nelissen

Tessa works at HSC as an Advisor. She supports both national and international clients in the field of corporate communication, public affairs and issue management. Her focus areas are topics such as circular economy, sustainability and public space.

Tessa completed a bachelor's degree in Communication Science and a master's degree in Corporate Communication at VU University Amsterdam. During her studies, she developed a keen interest in crisis communication and reputation management. For her bachelor thesis, Tessa researched the effects of different types of crises on an organisation's reputation. For her master's thesis, she researched the effects of CSR activities and proactive action during a reputational crisis. Thanks to her previous work experience, Tessa is an expert in building and maintaining sustainable relationships.
